The area is great for fishing, bird watching, or just plain relaxing. |

Heron House is located 1.9 miles west of the intersection, FM 2925 and FM1847 in Arroyo City. The property is located on the Arroyo Colorado, which empties into the Luguna Madre/Gulf of Mexico. The Arroyo Colorado is part of the Intercostal Waterway and is constantly maintained to a17 foot depth in the middle by the U.S. Corps of Engineers |

Heron House sits up on a hill over looking the Arroyo Colorado to the North. There is plenty of parking incase you're towing a boat or expecting company. The house itself is 800 sq., ft., with 1 bedroom and 1bath room. Included in the rental: TV, Microwave, Washer/Dryer, Fully equipped Kitchen (coffeemaker, dishes, glasses, silverware, pots and pans...ect),

If you've never been to Arroyo City you'll find yourself in the middle of south Texas farm country where you'll enjoy beautiful views in all directions. The living is quiet and easy. |

Enjoy the night fishing from your own dock with a fishing light, or take a twenty minute ride by boat into the Luguna Madre. From there you can go north to Port mansfield or south to South Padre Island. |
